Freaky Jon P Live @ George Washington University

"Only way I'm stoppin if I'm layin in a casket."

Sound Fx - Brave New World (Prod. The Alchemist)

The concept of this joint is that there are too many rappers than fans, and that's true.  Not everybody can rap just cuz you think you're a little bit clever.  If you haven't grabbed their last EP, Still Dreaming, get on that.  This is from their first, yet-to-arrive album, Still Dreaming II.  Looking forward to that.

*Throwback* Wiz Khalifa ft. Courtney Noelle - Bankroll

Ah, a classic Wizzle joint for today's throwback.  Star Power is in my top 3 Wiz projects.

State of the Artist - Altered State (EP)

The SOTA crew can describe this better than I can:

"Today marks the release of SOTA's latest project, 'Altered State' -- a collection of 7 songs produced in-house and is some of our best work to date. Following the release of our debut "SeaCal" in April 2010 this free EP shows a marked progression in the musical styles and tastes of us three (Parker, HY, and Thaddeus). It blends heavy electronic production with original composition and edgy lyrics depicting the literal state of an artist constantly creating in an ever changing environment. Produced by @ParkerJoe, edited, mixed, and mastered by @PSMOOV of MAD RAD. If you like the music, do your thing to support and let other people know where they can get it. For now, listen, and enjoy"

J$ - D.i.D (Mixtape)

New project from the young S.D. artist.  Got a joint with producer Steve Vicious on the way as well.  Look out.

*Throwback* Notorious B.I.G Throws Bottle at DJ Kap

Here's a clip from KMEL Summer Jam '95, where Biggie gets mad at his DJ for messin up a couple times.  The summer heat melted the vinyl and was causing some problems.  B.I.G. was just kidding around though, this is what Kap had to say:

"So, I go to Big’s room, and I knock on the door. And then he opens the door laughing! And he got a bunch of girls in the room! I’m bashful and I’m like, Yo, I’m sorry, I apologize for all that. He was like, “Man, I knew! I saw those records. I knew it was the sun and all that. But I couldn’t let them think that it was me out there messing up!”

JIAIV - HAM (Rock Rmx)

You like Kanye & Jay's hit?  Well this goes just as hard, if not harder.
