Black Milk discusses his new group "Random Axe"

He says they're droppin the album at the end of the year.  That has the potential to be an instant classic.  Shout out to Please Don't Stare on the upload.

DK- "From The Outside In" Mixtape

If you like what you're hearin from DK, download his tape over at Datpiff, where its featured.  His flow is pretty nice and you can connect with his topics.

Dosage- "It" Mixtape

In San Diego I caught a Lupe performance and Dosage opened up for him.  It was one of the craziest openers I have ever seen.  From all the music I've heard from him, all of his songs have some sort of purpose and deep meaning.  Download his latest mixtape at Datpiff.

Curren$y Freestyles with Pitchfork TV

Curren$y has been my favorite artist for years now and he honestly seems to improve his sound with every new track he drops.  Its rare you see him freestyle but when one pops up every now and then its always nice.  More big things in the future comin for Spitta.  Good lookin, Pitchfork TV.

Lil Wayne's Final Letter to Fans

Just thought this was interesting enough to post.  Weezy is really positive and thankful in his last letter to fans from prison.  I really respect that from him and it shows that he is human just like everyone else.  We don't see that too often from Wayne in his music.  By the way, I found this one over at Rap Radar.

"Hello world. Time is ticking and I’m counting every second. Because of my new limitations, this unfortunately has to be my last letter. I don’t think people truly understand how much their thoughts and well wishes have helped me through this time in my life. Not everyone is as lucky as I am and it humbles me daily. You would be amazed what positivity can do in a negative environment. I’m going to miss reading about your lives. I’m going to miss looking at the pictures. They were the highlight of my days aside from speaking with my kids. Don’t stress over this in 27 days, the ride starts again.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who is supporting I Am Not A Human Being. It amazes me each time people go out and support my music. I’ll always be in debt to you for that. Keep rocking your “Free Weezy” tees and rocking out to my music. Trust me when I say this is almost over. I love you. I’ll continue to pray for all of you. Just keep doing the same for me."

Dez Goodz- Still Gettin Mine

I downloaded this dude's mixtape over at 2dopeboyz and its impressive.

Lupe Fiasco Discusses Record Labels

"L.A.S.E.R.S." has been in the works for over two years now, and with still no release date, it's not looking good.  In front of a pretty big crowd, Lupe spoke out about his problems with Atlantic Records and didn't hold anything back.

Yelawolf- Rhyme Room (Ep 2)

You may be confused until about 1:25 into this video, but then the wait pays off.  Glad Yelawolf is finally getting the publicity he deserves.  Here's a link to the first episode of Rhyme Room.

Iron Solomon- Toca Tuesdays Freestyle

If you haven't seen this guy battle before, look up some of his videos.  His wit is unmatched when he frees and can make you laugh at anytime.  Solomon is one of the best freestylers hands down.

Actual Proof- Competitors/"The Free EP"

Actual Proof has a mixture of an old school sound with intelligent lyrics and confidence to accompany it.  "The Free Ep" (The Genius Edition) dropped in late August, but its worth a post today.  9th Wonder has nothing but great words for them, so you can expect their music to be powerful.
